Dejuan Buford

Dejuan was educated in the Metro school system and graduated from Antioch High School. Dejuan received his BS Degree in Mass Communications from Middle Tennessee State University. He was a two sport Athlete (Football and Baseball) and joined the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity where he began to focus on the three most important aspects of his fraternity…Brotherhood, Scholarship and Service. Dejuan worked in the communications industry moving from Local Sales Manager at WSMV-TV to National Sales Manager for CBS=Atlanta (Meredith Corporation) and to General Sales Manager for the Sinclair Broadcasting Nashville (Fox-17/WB-58/UPN-30). After 19 years in broadcasting Dejuan opened a State Farm Agency in Brentwood TN where he has been in business for 11 years. Dejuan was the first African American to be appointed a State Farm Agency in Williamson County! Dejuan has served in many capacities serving his community. He is actively involved in Church Youth Ministry, Board of Trustees at MTSU, Vice President of the Pi Eta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Nashville Baseball Old Timers, Nashville Community Partners Board of Directors, and the Nashville March of Dimes Developmental Committee Board.
