Denine Goolsby

Denine A, Goolsby has served as an educator for forty-one years. She received a B.S. in Elementary Education and a M. Ed. in Educational Admnistration from Kent State University. She began her career as a teacher in the East Cleveland City School District. As an administrator, she held the positions of assistant principal and principal in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District. She also served in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District as an academic coach and the Executive Director of Social and Emotional Learning and Closing the Achievement Gap. Ms. Goolsby is currently an adjunct professor at Cleveland State University. Ms. Goolsby is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority and the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa where she serves on local and national levels. She is also a member of the Sigma Public Education and Research Board. Ms. Goolsby brings a plethora of experiences to the work and is ecstatic about collaborating with fellow educators.
